WHAT WAS THE COST... ?

Dear Friends and Power Partners,

Happy Independence Day!! Let us take a moment to reflect on the cost of our freedom.

 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed,
and were never in bondage to any man:
how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever:
but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free,
ye shall be free indeed.
(John 8:32-36)

 What was the cost of our freedom from eternal damnation?

I know it was the blood…
One day when I was lost
Christ, The Holy One
And God’s only begotten Son
Died on the cross
And I know it was His blood
That paid the cost
For my redemption
For without the shedding of blood
There is no remission
From our sin condition

Now, once in Christ we believe
We are covered under His blood
And receive the keys
To use His authority
To live this life triumphantly
So rise up out of your torment
Let the power of His Spirit
No longer lie dormant!
Praise God for the blood!
Praise God for the blood!
