Fragments of your imaginations by Angelena vernon

Some people consider me to be unbalanced and immature
Naive for talking about intimate things I endure
Lack wisdom when I open my mouth to speak
Show vulnerability during the moments I am weak
Love compliments, accolades and pats on the back
Play mind games to obtain what I desire or lack
Give gifts, money and trinkets with strings attached
Friendly with many folks but will not let them latch
Wear the world like a loose garment with no cares
Look for different options to sort out my affairs
Nevertheless, these traits do not define me
These are small pigments of your imagination
Along with a detailed analysis of what you see
Through the windows of our souls we perceive a lot
At times what we see and hear is devastating
Then at moments, our thoughts are tied up in knots
 our assumptions convictions and afterthoughts
Were embedded deep within in our hearts
By our experiences and the ways, we were taught

1 Samuel 16:7
People judge by the outward appearances, but God looks at the heart.

Inspiration was based on our different perceptions about others.
To sum it up, what type of glasses are you wearing?

product of god's creation

I am not a guinea pig nor am I a bond slave
In Gods sight I am fearfully and wonderfully made
God created me for his pleasures and I am unique
Strong in his infinite power even when I am weak
The essence of my life is in God’s hands
It is his favor grace and mercy that helps me to stand
I will not be overconcerned nor will I grumble
I will not rejoice when my enemies stumble
For my life belongs to God and it is not mine
God promised to be with me until the end of time
He strengthens me inwardly so I will not fall
When I am cornered and my back is against a wall
Whenever issues dilemmas or problems prevail
God comforts me because he knows I am frail
It is His presence that I feel content and complete
God fights my battles so I can land on my feet
I am far above what meets the eye
I am courageous classy and far from shy
So if you want to compare me to someone else
I suggest you take inventory of yourself
I am not a pawn or a bond slave
I am a product of God’s creation and wonderfully made

Psalm 139:13-14: For you formed my inner parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you (lord), for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are your works; and that my soul knows right well.

Inspiration: Based on how we look at ourselves and not according to how God sees us. Gods eternal purpose for creating us was to bring him good pleasure. It is all about Gods thoughts and how He feels about His children.

Happy Father’s Day

Where would we BE without our Fathers
After Being Birth Respectively by our Mothers
It Doesn’t Matter the Circumstance or the Place
Fathers Just Know, How We need You in Our Space

You are so Needed Because of Your Seed
Going Before us as The Foundation to Succeed
You Plant Life In So Many Different Ways
Thank you for Your Love and Support Every Day

You Didn’t Realize the Power You Have Within
The Ability to Speak and Expect and Powerfully Win
The Seed You Receive From the Ultimate Father
A Power From Within That No Other Can Bother

I Bless You all and Give You Thanks for Your Stand
That Makes a Statement Like No Others Can
Thank You for Your Sacrifices that you Secretly Give
They Have Been So Powerful From Your Daily Will

The World Wouldn’t BE What It is Today
Without Your Leadership In These Days
Many Thanks For How You Do What You Do
Blessings and Happy Father’s Day to You.

NOTES FROM THE AUTHOR

Proverbs 18:21

The tongue has the power of life and death;
and those who love it will eat its fruit.

The tongue is a doorway of life for our body soul and spirit.
Words give life, words kill. Words have the ability to hurt, to harm,
to heal and comfort.

Our words can build up and tear down.
By our words, we are justified therefore God is glorified.

We must let the words of our mouth and the mediation of our hearts
be acceptable in God's sight.

Vexation of the soul

Vexation of the soul

by Angelena Vernon
What grieves my spirit and baffles me
Is the performance of leaders in our society
A democracy that governs what we can do
Laws that are constitutional but cannot benefit you
Watching people struggle to make ends meet
Hearing about police brutality on the streets
Corruption among elected officials and politicians too
Has grieved many in our nation and not just a few
What makes my heart heavy and troubles me
Is how people analyze everything they see
How some are oppressed and walking in fear
Why we don’t want to endure hardships or persevere
With the cost of living expenses being sky high
Cremation is not an option when some people die
The times and the seasons are in God’s hands
He sanctions what will occur based on his plans
Nevertheless, what the world is experiencing now
I am fully persuaded we will prevail somehow
So why are we unsettled about the unknown
Things we cannot avoid that will be shown
Trials we cannot alter that God ordained
Miraculous miracles that no one can explain
No matter what befalls you or me
We must run to God and embrace
His love strength peace and unmerited grace

Psalm 91: 1 – Those that dwell in the shelter of the highest will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no one can withstand].

“Vexation of the Soul was written based on the trying times we are facing today. Sometimes the pressures of life come from every direction.

God's divine grace
by Angelena vernon

Under my facade I wore a fictitious smile
I acted like a jokester for a while
From my outward behavior people though I was fine
Apart from joking many things were on my mind
When I mingled with people in a crowd
I played with words until they laughed out loud
Even with a good sense of humor
My views were scrambled to a degree
Until I distance myself and focused on me
I had to deal with my emotional anguish and fears
All the issues and secrets I held in for years
The unforgiveness and bitterness I hid in my heart
The lies that were spoken that tore me apart
The arrows that were shot which pierced my soul
The desire to be healthy healed and made whole
When emotional wounds are inflicted by those you love
Only God’s grace can heal you from above
A broken wounded spirit only God can mend
After malicious words are spoken to offend
Only God’s grace can comfort and heal
The issues we hide compress and conceal

Psalm 147:3  He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

God is the only one who can heal our pains and comfort us in sorrow. For he is Jehovah Rapha that heals us physically mentally and spiritually.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

There is always no Place like Home
Being comfortable in a Space to Roam
But when you Teach your Children From That Space
There is no Better Place to Find True Grace

My Hat goes out to Every Single Mother
Who Teaches Their Child at Home to Further
An Education They Trust For Their Children
To Be Better Equipped in This World We live In

Thank you Mothers for Taking the Time
Providing Structured Places and Lessons Assigned
That Daily Goes Beyond the Call of Duty
Teaching at Home Exemplifying Being Studious

May you be Refilled as you Move through God’s Will
Know How Special YOU are Teaching Like Stars
When Those Moments of Frustration Creeps Up
You are Appreciated As you Fill Your Children’s cup

The Only Thing Left For Me to Say
Is For You to Enjoy A Blessed Happy Mother’s Day.

MOTHERS EVERYWHERE

My Heart goes out to Every Woman Alive Today
Being A True Nurturer, You’ve Given Much Away
What Do I Mean when I say These Words
Just Keep Reading and You will Absorb

To Mothers who have children who are Away
You will See them again, Continue to Pray
To Mothers who Think They Have Done Wrong
Seek Forgiveness and Love Will Come Along

To Mothers who Lost Their Mothers and Feel Alone
Those Memories Now Should Prove So Strong
To the Mothers who Never Ever Gave Birth
Thank You So Much For Sharing Your Worth

To Every Woman who has Nurtured Many Souls
Your Touch has made Many Lives Whole
There is so much You Have Done to so Many
Not Even a Man could Imitate Your Being

Thank you Mothers for Such Loving Touches
For Wiping Away Tears when Many were Bothered

May You Truly Enjoy This Day In Every Way
Have A Blessed and Prosperous Mother’s Day.
