And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. (Luke 2:12) T'was the Night Before Christmas by Gail Moss T'was the night before Christmas As I kneeled down to pray With an attitude of gratitude I had so much to say For God's grace had covered me Everyday for 52 weeks His mighty wings shielded me From dangers Seen and unseen Angels were assigned to me Even while I slept And every need He promised to meet Faithfully, He met! So I knelt there And tried to speak But no words came Instead... I wept In worship My lips stammered To offer up a praise To the God of my salvation My Deliverer The Ancient of Days! Yet, silence... Was all I offered But I knew He understood For my tears spoke for me "Lord, THANK YOU For being so good!" HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you (Philippians 1:3) Blessings Faith Family, WOW! it is Thanksgiving 2016! I'm thankful to God for another opportunity to connect with you, and pray all is well with you and your families. We all have so much to be thankful for. The number one thing I'm thankful for is the gift of salvation, for which I praise God for daily! This Thanksgiving, I want to acknowledge that Believing In The Power Ministries is truly thankful for each and every one of you, our Kingdom family. Many of you have been with us from the conception of this ministry, over 15 years ago. For your prayers, support, fellowship, and most of all, for your LOVE down through the years, we say THANK YOU! Wishing You and Yours Bountiful Blessings. This Thanksgiving & Always! Dear Friends and Power Partners, Happy Independence Day!! Let us take a moment to reflect on the cost of our freedom. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:32-36) What was the cost of our freedom from eternal damnation?
I know it was the blood… One day when I was lost Christ, The Holy One And God’s only begotten Son Died on the cross And I know it was His blood That paid the cost For my redemption For without the shedding of blood There is no remission From our sin condition Now, once in Christ we believe We are covered under His blood And receive the keys To use His authority To live this life triumphantly So rise up out of your torment Let the power of His Spirit No longer lie dormant! Praise God for the blood! Praise God for the blood! © The Blood by Gail Moss John 4:24 KJV
God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. A Place of Worship © Gail Moss A place of worship, where I encounter You A place of worship, where my heart is true A place of worship, just between me and You My King A place of worship Where I come and lay prostrate In this place of worship Before You, Holy Magistrate Longing to commune with You Face to face My King For Your Word declares: Fear the Lord All The Earth! Worship Him in the beauty of holiness Commune with Him and be blessed I labor to enter into that rest Now it’s no longer about me For I have killed my flesh So enjoy the fragrance of my brokenness May it be a sweet smelling savor For to abide completely in You and You fully in me Is the oneness that I’m after I know Your eyes run to and fro For it’s the true worshipper that You seek I’m here, in this place of worship In spirit and in truth, I come and bow before You For I have died to me I’m in pursuit of You My King! You're Invited! Please join our Poetry & Arts Outreach Team this Saturday Afternoon at the Harborside Hotel in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

NO ONE LIKE YOU by Gail Moss There’s no one like You No one can compare There’s no one like You No one, no where You completed the mission That started away in a manger Against the forces of sin's darkness You are my Avenger! From a child to a man Your life was sinless Yet You paid the price because humans transgress From the manger to the cross From death You have risen Because You so loved me I am now forgiven Forever Your witness I will be Until You return from the air For there is no one like You No one, no where! HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY! Hosanna In the Highest, We Magnify His Name!
John 10:9-11 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 12:12-13 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. Happy Passion Week! Elder Marcus Happy New Year Everyone! May the LORD bless you and keep you, and may you awake each day knowing God's unquenchable love towards you throughout 2016.
Blessings Dear Friends,When you first open your eyes in the morning, do you stop for just a brief moment to say thank you to God? After all, it is in HIm that we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28).
I encourage you, tomorrow morning when you awake to take just a moment to listen to yourself breathe. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. It happens automatically, doesn't it? Just as God designed it to. That’s a blessing. With so much going on in the world today to distract and overwhelm us, some of us would literally forget to breathe. Thank God that He truly is “the air we breathe,” for if He would take away just that one element from our mortal lives, we would cease to exist. What a blessing to be among the land of the living. Aren't you thankful for another opportunity to let your light shine and bring glory to our Father in heaven? That is what my dear friend did for all the years that I've known her. On last Saturday, I gave the eulogy at my friend's home-going service. There a many blessings I could begin to name this Thanksgiving Day, But I am most THANKFUL for having experienced two decades of my life knowing my dear friend Elder Barbara Monroe. I will truly miss her friendship and presence in my life. If you knew Barbara, you knew she LOVED the LORD! She was always a willing worker in ministry and a kind and generous person. Most importantly, she was a child of God. It is during these times, (when a loved one passes away), that we can truly be thankful to God for His gift of Salvation. Barbara's life was ministry. In a world with so many people looking for a way out of the trials they are facing, Elder Barbara was a light in darkness. Sharing the love of God was like breathing to her. She encounter people from all walks of life. No one remained a stranger after 5 minutes with Barbara. She had three things for everyone she met: 1. A warm SMILE 2. A big HUG, and 3. A word of ENCOURAGEMENT. Praying for and encouraging strangers came natural to Elder Barbara. She reached countless lives on behalf of the Kingdom. This world is vast with many in need. You can't help everyone, but you can help someone. You may not be able to change the WORLD, but you can change SOMEBODY'S world! Elder Barbara Jean Monroe was a "World Changer". You can be one too, and I promise you, the lives you touched for Christ will be eternally THANKFUL! Elder Marcus had the pleasure of ordaining Elder Monroe into the Ministry of the Gospel. We . dedicate this poem to the memory of our dear friend and co-laborer. The Spirit of Thanksgiving by Gene Griffin May we always focus on the good And count our blessings as we should. May all our complaints depart And thank God with a grateful heart. Our troubles may be the same, But we can still praise His good name! Our load may be hard to bear, But thank God, the Loadbearer is there. We will forget to complain And not mention life’s pain, If our days are filled with praise, And we thank God in all our ways. Don’t think that things are so bad, And don’t live with a heart so sad. Countless blessings are ours each day. Let us thank God when we kneel and pray. |
